    To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for the intern position advertised on Attinis. I am currently awaiting graduation from Royal Holloway, University of London. I have achieved a 2:1 BA Hons degree in English Literature, and now that my studies are complete I yearn the opportunity to work for somebody as inspiring and insightful as Sinitta.

I have always been passionate about the media, fashion and social networking; and I hope to prove myself an integral part of the Attinis team. I am a confident, polite and well-spoken individual. Despite being in full-time education, I have been in constant part-time and holiday employment for the last six years, demonstrating a high level of work ethic, passion and motivation. I work well on my own and in a team; I am flexible, well-organised and always endeavour to use my initiative to develop and deliver a task to the very best of my ability. I take immense pride in presentation and always endeavour to go the extra mile and use my initiative to achieve the very best of my ability. My degree has taught me analytical skills, clear and logical thinking, the ability to write clearly and concisely, the skill of communicating complex ideas and the capacity to read quickly with a critical eye.

I have four years of paid and voluntary work experience with a local mental health charity, Norwich Mind, in Norfolk. During my time there I fulfilled many roles; I began by voluntarily fundraising and assisting/acting in drama workshops, and when I became old enough I was offered paid roles within the organisation, including part-time receptionist and, eventually, PA to the Deputy CEO. These roles have given me invaluable experience in providing office and administrative support. My tasks included meeting and greeting service users and guests, sorting and logging the post and emails, maintaining the schedules and timetables of the centre’s counsellors and outreach workers, writing letters, ordering office supplies and providing general office support to the best of my ability.

In the future, I envisage myself producing or presenting brilliant and entertaining television and radio shows. Eventually, I would like to revolutionise children’s and educational television programmes, utilising them as a means to dispel any irrational prejudice against disability, race and cultural differences. In my spare time I write children’s stories and poems – but with more children today watching television than reading books – television seems to be the key to promoting diversity and eradicating ignorance. I have experience meeting/greeting celebrities and I tend not to be particularly phased or star-struck, which I believe is important for maintaining professional, high standards within a business.

Working at Attinis would be a dream come true, and a fabulous way to begin my career. I believe that I have the practical skills and personality to succeed, progress and flourish at Attinis.

Thankyou kindly for your time and consideration,

    Billie Dee Gianfrancesco
